I bought this product as described: an easily removable self adhesive poster. It appears to me to be a heavy duty vinyl with an adhesive that is so sticky that it would remove paint behind it. In my case I was applying it to a painted aluminium surface. It was so difficult to remove so that I could straighten bubbles etc that it feels as though it is distorting. It seems more like it is a permanent poster. The only thing saving it is that the vinyl is strong enough to overcome the also-strong adhesive.
